I love purple because you can mix any proportions of red and blue and get some exotic shade of it. The red and blue -- hot and cold -- makes it scintellate for me. Also, I've read that historically, purple dyes have been difficult and expensive to concoct -- and I love rare and expensive stuff! My cobalt blue is purple. We work with teens at our church collecting a sIngle penny for every person in sub-Saharan Africa with HIV/AIDS - 23 million. Every penny equals one person, every person worth saving and cherishing.
